Behind the Scenes (3^rd – 6^th grade) 45 minutes including Q &A

Take a peek behind the curtain! Beth gives your students a fun look behind the scenes of book creation from idea to finished, published book. Includes Q&A.

Let’s Draw a Story (All ages) 30-40 minutes

In this fun, interactive presentation, Beth creates a character drawing using prompts from your students, then directs the students in writing a short story for that character. This presentation can be adapted to any age level.  Optional Q&A.

Workshops (5th grade +)

Beth also offers workshops for older students that focus on the more technical aspects of creative writing and illustration. She can cover topics like revision, character creation, storytelling, and the use of mentor texts.
